A Walk In The Park

Remember that Creative Travel Photography class I posted about a while back? Well, I had an absolute blast - and more importantly, learned a lot of valuable information about photography. I've always loved taking pictures, but have remained a self-proclaimed "amateur" for several years now. This photography class has drastically helped me take better pictures. It's taken me a while, but I'm finally grasping the concepts of how to obtain a good exposure. Believe it or not, this workshop was the first time I've ever used the "manual" settings on my camera!

Here are some of my favorite pictures that I took during the workshop. I'm no Annie Leibovitz, but I mean, who doesn't love some good stock photos of nature. Something about meadows, grassy knolls, flowers and sunshine just screams "summer" to me. Enjoy.

(And good news: if you missed the class, you can always buy the DVD here!)

  1. Beautiful pictures! And I am very impressed, I have bought my SLR a couple of years ago and still haven't dared to touch the manual settings. Thanks for sharing!
